Active in promoting and sustaining Ballroom Dancing including the styles of Standard Ballroom New Vogue Latin and Old Time.
DanceSport Nelson co-operates with the professional Dance Studios and teachers to hold competitions and events throughout the year and also encourages and assists members to attend competitions outside of Nelson.
DanceSport Nelson stages two events of it's own each year the Richmond Festival in August and the popular two day Easter Championships and Festival over Easter Weekend.
