A group who get together once a month to discuss their own, and others, family history research.  We are particularly concerned with the gathering together of all information about the people who have lived in Golden Bay over the years and the records that could be used to extract information about them.  We are keen to help each other with research, be it in this country or abroad and we have many members with wide areas of interest and knowledge.  We also do research for those outside the area wishing to know more about their ancestors who might have come from Golden Bay.

Meetings – usually last Sunday of each month (February to November) at 11am with a break for a pot luck lunch at noon.

We are a diverse, friendly group and new members are always welcome.

Working closely with the Golden Bay Museum, we have an excellent selection of research materials concerning Golden Bay and our group is willing to help anyone searching for ancestors in this area.
