Here at the Motueka Rec Centre, we provide a vast range of sports, leagues, coaching and gym facilities. We are fully equipped with everything for your fitness, sport, and event needs.

Our gym is the largest, most comprehensive and best gym in town. We have 24/7 access available, full air conditioning, free showers and lockers. Memberships and casual one-off visits are welcomed.

Here at the Motueka Recreation Centre we provide, run, host and support a huge range of sports, leagues and groups for our community. These range from ball sports, racket sports, martial arts and more. We also run school and adult leagues throughout the year.

The only all-weather, all-purpose birthday party venue in Motueka. We have a huge range of options for all ages available. Such as fun zones (bouncy castles & games), sports packages, skating, rock climbing or a combination set-up to suit you and your child.

You can hire out certain areas of the centre, multiple areas or the whole centre for larger events.

Some events and groups we do and have hosted are, NZ Dart Championship, NZ Roller Hockey Nationals, pickleball tournaments, boxing fight nights, meeting room space, roller disco parties, sports fundraising events and Christmas party functions.

We love helping our local schools to facilitate sports, leagues and coaching. We look after 14 primary schools in our region. We provide on-site coaching sessions, in school coaching sessions and sports leagues. We can also cater to school trips and sports days.
