Fun, fitness and friendship through traditional Scottish Country Dance – Motueka Scottish Country Dance Club welcomes visitors and new members.

Learn Jigs, Reels and Strathspeys and dance to some great music.

There are no age restrictions.  A reasonable level of fitness and a willingness to join in and have a good time are the only requirements.  No special clothes are needed, but wear flat soft soled shoes.

Previous experience is not required as dances are taught.  Dances usually involve 6 or 8 people.  You will dance with different people during the course of a dance and do not need to have a partner.

Come and join Motueka Scottish country Dancing club.  We’re a friendly bunch of dancers of varying skills and experience who dance because we love it plus it helps keep us fit.  No partner needed, so join on your own or with a friend.

You can check us out for free on your first visit, and then pay a weekly $4 door fee.  Alternatively you can pay a $10 annual membership and then pay a weekly $3 door fee.
