We are a mostly social club for FORD vehicle owners and enthusiasts, and endeavour to hold an event once a month.  These can take the form of a run to a cafe or restaurant, a picnic, or to visit a shed or other location of interest.  The club has been around since 2001, and originally grew out of the Nelson Cortina Club that originated back in the mid 1990s.  Due to the growing lack of Cortinas the club went on to cater for all Fords and became the club it is today.

We also organise the biennial Henry Ford Birthday at the end of July – the 2023 event held at the Tahuna Motor Camp was attended by over 200 vehicles, including some from Marlborough and Canterbury.  The gold coin entry fee for cars and the public is donated to the Nelson Hospice.

Today the club has grown to around 60 members and families with a wide range of Fords.  We have regular outings and runs across the top of the South Island taking in the Nelson and Marlborough regions and also attend events on the West Coast and further afield.
