The Big Bake Up began in 2021, hitting the ground running with support for Westport during the floods.

Since then, we have grown rapidly, and by the end of 2023, we had become a charitable trust.

We are committed to providing support by way of food to those experiencing an unexpected life challenge.

We cook together as a community and then distribute meals far and wide to various agencies and schools around the Nelson Tasman.

We are here to make a difference. We are here to provide beautiful cooked meals and delicious desserts and baking to anyone deserving of a little kindness.
