Waimea Old Boys Rugby Football Club was founded in 1896.  We have strong links with the Waimea/Tasman region and are proud  to be their community rugby club.  Waimea Old Boys is a very successful both on and off the field and pride themselves in being a family-focused club.  Waimea Old Boys is the largest club in the Nelson/Tasman region, and is located at Jubilee Park in the heart of Richmond.

To better reflect the diverse community that surrounds the club, in 2021 Waimea Old Boys made a change to their Senior Playing strip to incorporate traditional Maori and Pasifika designs weaved among the colours on the shirt.  The club felt this was a recognition of the contribution of the many Maori and Pasifika players that have represented and coached at the club over the years.
